Resumo

The state of Amapá has the most conserved and least known biodiversity of Brazil, especially the microbial biodiversity of its soil, including fungi, yeasts and bacteria, such as actinomycetes, which are known for their potential for the synthesis of bioactive compounds such as antimicrobial agents, and for this reason, many of these compounds are primarily used by the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, this research project held a screening of microorganism on the soil samples amazonian savanna of the State of Amapá, and isolated microorganisms capable of synthesizing bioactive compounds with antibiosis potential. For that, colonies of microorganisms were isolated from soil samples on selective medium, and these were subcultured in specific media for growth of soil microorganisms. The isolated microorganisms were characterized by macroscopic and microscopic observation of colonies characteristics and the aerial mycelium by methods such as the microculture, and these were also classified as bacteria, fungi and yeasts, as well as the description of the morphology of microorganisms and their groupings by Gram staining. The total of 40 microorganisms were isolated, and all of these were tested for antibiosis plate against standardized microorganisms for such methodology by the method of crossed trace (cris-cross). From the isolated microorganisms, 6 are Gram-positive bacterias, 11 Gram-negative, 7 filamentous fungi and 16 are yeasts, from these last, 12 isolated microorganism have showed significant antimicrobial activity in antibiosis test plate
