Associação dos Sem Teto: um estudo sociológico dos (Des)caminhos na luta pela moradia e cidadania “cerceada” na cidade de Macapá

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and discuss the importance of urban social movement, specifically the Association of Homeless in Amapá and their struggle for housing and the rescue of citizenship "denied" with his associates. Thus, we analyzed the history of the Brazilian housing issue, exposing the situation of urban social movements. Featuring the work of idealism and political entity that backfeeds the struggle of the popular movement, to verify how it takes the application and deployment of the movement in society. To support this work had the theoretical support of Gohn, Santos, Rodrigues, Hobsbawm, Antunes, Marx, Gramsci, Ggzybowski among other authors cited in the bibliography, which covered issues related to housing matters and social movements. To prove the importance of the work of the Association of homeless was conducted field research in their own entity located in the city of Macapa among its members and directors. Thus, we used the technique of direct observation, questionnaires and interviews to determine how the popular movement is an opportunity to its members a politicized critique. It appeared then that does not work the concept of social movement difficult for members to understand and express themselves so critical in the association itself. From the analysis of the research, questions arose about how to internalize those associated with the receipt of the plot of land and the relationship with the question of citizenship and, consequently, the development / growth of the group facing hardship. It was noted that the movement was more active before becoming the institutional character. Thus proving that the activities of occupation were planned and organized efficiently and only then open the dialogue with the government. However, today the organization is under the responsibility of the keeper.
