Desafios da vacinação para controle da covid-19 no brasil

Abstract

This article aims to present a documentary analysis regarding the challenges of vaccination to control COVID-19 in Brazil. This is a descriptive study, with a research question elaborated according to the TQO strategy. The search for documents was carried out in July and August 2021, in primary sources in the public domain. Nine documents were selected, noting that the challenges are diverse, including logistical difficulties, structure of the cold chain, lack of autonomy for vaccine production, vaccine diversity, diplomatic crises and regional disparities. It is concluded that, for adequate immunization to advance in a country with continental proportions such as Brazil, a series of obstacles need to be overcome. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic brought to light the issue of spreading false news, which calls into question scientifically proven facts, such as the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, directly affecting adherence to vaccination.
