O uso do aço em uma arquitetura contemporânea: proposta de uma escola de artes para o bairro Congós, em Macapá/AP

Abstract

This present research compounds a study about the Steel material and its use on Contemporary Architecture, applied on a School of Arts at Chico Dias Community in an area of irregular occupation in the city of Macapa, in the state of Amapa. The area presents a different dynamic in due to its particular characteristics, which are took into consideration after being diagnosed, to the thought of the project. The work presents its methodology as deductive nature, relating the steel, contemporary architecture, and art's conceptual aspects, with an inductive analysis of local reality, considering the relations between the environment and the social actors that recognize themselves in their appropriation space mode, which results on the composition of school with the local landscape. This way, are being used bibliographic readings, interviews, diagrams and thematic maps, besides visitations in the local area. This work approaches the urban and physics elements, such as the symbolic and sensorial relations, that render in a proposal of School of Arts thar serve as a social transformation vector, allying that to the adequate use of studied material, giving value to its characteristics for a better use of itself in architecture.
