Abstract

Objective: To analyze the discourses emerging from the cinematographic work, using the discussion circle as a strategy to problematize bioethics with healthcare workers. Methods: This is a descriptive and exploratory study employing a qualitative approach, specifically action research, conducted in the city of Macapá, in the state of Amapá, at a Basic Health Unit in October 2023 with healthcare professionals. The workshop on everyday bioethics facilitated reflection following the film screening in a discussion circle. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to capture the essence of the bioethical discussions that emerged during the process. Results and Discussion: The study provided valuable insights into healthcare professionals' perceptions of bioethics in everyday practice and enabled the identification of ethical conflicts in healthcare practices. Conclusion: This research reinforces the effectiveness of combining cinematographic works and discussion circles to deepen everyday discussions on bioethics.
