Resumo
In this article it was mentioned that trade clothing store "The Barateira" is to
attract customers and how they are constituted social relations of consumption of low-income
people in front of a consumer society, considering that the store "The Barateira "has a catchy
name as well, arousing people's curiosity to check the price, quality, service and the
differential of the store. Within this context, it is necessary to diagnose a sociological
approach in a microanalysis can contribute to a greater analysis, particularly with regard to
expectations of a theme which is much discussion. Thus, this paper contributes with regard to
the relationship between the entrepreneur and the consumer, since one needs the other. The
relations of consumption observed in the shop "The Barateira", for example, the majority are
women who usually buy, the payment of "family allowance" from the federal government
generates a larger movement in the store, loyalty is also observed, and the price is attractive
compared to other stores, and the same product, the demand is higher in parts that give you
the price difference, such as underwear, tank tops and towels team.
