Resumo
This paper studies the application of acoustic strategies in a proposal for a Music
School for Macapa City. The song, which is present in several parts of the world
today has great importance to the findings of neuroscience showing that music
education or learning an instrument can help the assimilation of content and
disciplines related to logic and concentration. Thus, it had its recognition in Brazil by
Law No. 11,769 in August 2008, which makes it mandatory, but not exclusive music
education in basic education. Not all Brazilian states are fulfilling that law, mainly due
to lack of infrastructure of schools, which is the case of Amapá. Were developed
research in two main public primary schools from the state capital - Macapa, and
realized and the lack of structure of the same for the teaching of music, ignorance of
the law by the schools. Thus broke for the analysis of a school that is designed for
this purpose: study of music. Music School called Learning Centre Music
Professional Walkíria Lima. The school is currently working in a rented building
because its initial building was demolished due to impairment of the same structure.
Analyzes were made, interviews and applied post occupancy performance
questionnaires with teachers, staff and students in the building where the school is
working and noticed the lack of infrastructure for the study of music, directly
influencing the performance of students. In order to fill these gaps, the lack of
infrastructure in schools and law enforcement, this paper purpose is to develop an
architectural project of the School of Music, which serve mainly to students of public
elementary and secondary education, as well as general population. The proposal
will include enclosures treated both for isolation, and for the acoustic conditioning
and will provide students study music in comfort, enhancing the culture and Amapá
music education.
