O trabalho informal na praça do coco e em seu entorno na cidade de Macapá

Abstract

With a variety of forms of expression, informal work has called attention to a thorough study in the contemporary world. In order to better understand this issue, this study has been putting the work as a sociological category, as well as doing analysis of its historical process until you reach the social issue, with regard to informal work, passing by the informal sector in Brazil, work informal in Amapá and more specifically by the informal market and Macapá hobo. Making an analysis of street vendors, our study aimed to analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of workers Coconut Square and its surroundings, taking into account the social and economic facts that makes this work to be informal. The sample consisted of 36 workers from 14 fixed and street kiosks that are located around Coconut Square in the city of Macapá. In conducting the survey instrument used the form with questions relating to personal data, home situation, the current job situation, etc... In effect, one can trace the profile of this worker and thus examine the basis of studies carried out why this exercise this informal activity, given that we observe that public policies produced by the State to stumble in the sector lack of dialogue with workers , whose plans and studies toward the same end up harming their professional development strategies.
