Resumo

The education of young people and adults has historically been constituted as a light and compensatory training with a view to supplementing basic training, however, in the last two decades there is an increasing overlap of modalities, in the case of EJA, the number of actions and programs that aim to integrate it with professional education, Proeja is an example of this. In view of this, the present dissertation had as central objective to understand the conceptions of human being and human formation existing in the context of professional education integrated with basic education, whose tendency has been gaining space in the agenda of recent educational policies. Therefore, work was considered an educational principle in the training of subjects and necessary mediation for the educational process. Our spatial section starts from PROEJA at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amapá (IFAP) / Campus Santana-AP from the Technical Course in Logistics. In this work, an epistemological approach on integral education and work was carried out, based on Marxist theory, therefore, the historical and dialectical materialistic method was adopted, the type of research was the case study and as instruments of data collection, interviews were conducted semi-structured with the teachers and student subjects of the aforementioned course, with three teachers and three subject subjects being students, according to the informed consent form, in addition to bibliographic and documentary survey, documents covering Proeja at national and local level, legislation who created the program, as well as the Course Pedagogical Project (PPC). The treatment of field data was based on discourse analysis. The results of the research showed that: a) there is in Proeja a distance from integral education in a Marxian and Marxist perspective and the prevalence of integrated education, which aims only at training qualified workers and not critical and aware of their reality; b) the Logistics course offer was motivated by marketing logic and the local community was not consulted; c) The PPC of the course shows a concern with technical training, and offers an interesting education that reinforces alienated work; d) there is a significant dropout of students in the course; e) the subjects' speeches were aimed at emphasizing the role of education to meet the demands of the labor market.
