As Castanheiras: a organização política das mulheres da reserva extrativista do rio Cajarí no Amapá

Abstract

The RESEX Cajari created on March 12, 1990 is located in southern Amapá between the municipalities of the Orangery Jari Jari Victory and Mazagan. The region has gone through various social, political and economic, in the current situation is the presence of some political organizations who seek better conditions of life to these populations. It was found in this work that the exclusion lived women, and especially those living in rural and urban areas and discrepancies that social movements are constituted as an opportunity to challenge these social, economic, political and cultural. Thus, the study adhered to analyze the Political Organization of the high Castanheiras RESEX Cajari, manifested through associations with AMAC and AMOBIO order to generate income and employment its affiliates. This study aimed to understand how was the emergence of the political organization of these women and the creation of these associations above, focusing on the possible changes that the presence of these associations provided the lives of participants, with respect to income, political participation, environment and respect woman, work and family. The methodology developed was through literature review and field research, beyond the intersection of documentary and oral information, analyzes and interpretations reached it was found that these associations play an important role within the reserve was created through these alternative environmental which provided women the chestnut economic autonomy, political participation, best and changes in gender relations, as well as another point of view with respect to social, political and cultural.
