Espaços de atenção à saúde: proposta arquitetônica de um residencial terapêutico para pessoas portadoras de transtornos mentais no município de Macapá – AP

Abstract

Health care spaces (HCS) for the treatment of mental health face several difficulties in adapting to the precepts of the Psychiatric Reform, these ecommendations promote the deinstitutionalization and resocialization of the patients involved in this health segment. In the context of the implementation of the necessary equipments that make up the network of psychosocial care offered by the Unified Health System (SUS), the Residential Therapeutic Services stand out as an indispensable device in the process of deinstitutionalization. General objective of this work is the elaboration of an architectural design for the Residential Therapeutic Service in the Macapá city. For this purpose, a field observation was made of the main mental health care equipment of Macapá, the Psychiatric Unit of the Hospital das Clínicas Alberto Lima, guided by the methodology of ethnography, which allowed to observe the dynamics within the institution and the constructed space to identify the main recurring problems within the HSC used as parameters to be remedied in the architectural proposal of the Residential Therapeutic Service.
