Contribuição social da “Associação a nossa família” na saúde reprodutiva de mulheres e adolescentes grávidas: um estudo de caso

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyze the social contribution of the Associação Our Family (ANF) in the reproductive health of pregnant women and adolescents. Aiming to show the type of treatment available, and the ways in which the project works “Promoting life” in promoting the reproductive health of pregnant women. In addition to contributing with future studies on the subject, will help to supply the lack of studies in the areas of Social Sciences at the local level, where there are few studies involving the subject, which according to Boaventura (2007, p.35) it is preferable to research a little-studied topic and treat it depth to take a vast subject and approach it superficially. The reason for choosing the ANF as the object of study was due to the observation of the social activities that this institution dedicates to helpless people, specifically in the attention to the health of pregnant women and adolescents in the Fonte Nova neighborhood and need to inform society and academia, based on the proposals of the Comprehensive Assistance to Women's Health (PAIMS), how reproductive health is treated women within the scope of the association. During the bibliographical survey, a literature with an immensity of data dealing with the subject, mainly on the Internet, in the area of ​​Social Sciences, and the ANF in the person of its president, ceded for this research, all the elaborated material that involves the social work carried out by the institution. During the interviews, all the people who participated allowed through a signed consent term, the disclosure of their images and interviews, however, the term of consent governs that the identity of the interviewees must be kept in absolute secrecy, so only the initials of each name were included in the work.
