Maquiagem e traje de cena no Estado do Amapá: um estudo sobre o Grupo Imagem e Cia

Abstract

The present monograph starts from one study about make up and costumes in the group "Imagem e Cia" in the state of Amapá, highlighting the role of these elements in two group artistic creations, as well as a study of materials and techniques searched for this artistic collective that begins his work in the language of performance with living statues. In this way, we will talk about aspects of the group's research into the living statues and we will focus on the analysis of two shows: "A Era: um destemido olhar sobre o infortúnio destino” and “ Os Viajantes”, in these two work the search of scene costume was based in recyclable materials, customization of clothes, while the research of makeup took the group to work with naturals products as clay and industrialized products. As a way to contribute with the research of makeup and scene costumes, we produced a primer with basic concepts on these areas, as well as stepby-step techniques for creating makeup and scene costume in the theater.
