As louceiras do Maruanum: um estudo antropológico sobre a produção ceramista e sua representação para cultura local

Abstract

This work is an anthropological study that it was developed with base in a field research accomplished in Maruanum, district of Macapá-Amapá, more precisely in the communities of Carmo do Maruanum and Santa Luzia do Maruanum. In this research he/she worked her with a group of 05 women, that louceiras of Maruanum is denominated, which produce mud dishes for his/her commercialization, in a work that involves a lot of satisfaction and pleasure. It was aimed at to discover every process of production of the dishes in ceramic and the paper of the women louceiras in the community of Maruanum, as well as a meticulous analysis on the ritual accomplished by these women, that one revealed impregnated of mysticism and symbols. It is a qualitative approach, developed in the method ethnography, with the use of the field diary, interviews, photographic registrations, video recordings and bibliographical study. The importance in studying that theme is in the discovery of the art amapaense, as well as in the meticulous knowledge on this typical craft of the state of Amapá, that little by little wins space in the scientific researches, and like this, it exalts the local culture.
