Educomunicação: documentário de jornalismo ambiental como prática de conscientização

Abstract

This work presents a model of educommunication practice elaborated through a television documentary that aims to work on environmental awareness. The product portrays one of the main problems of the city of Macapá: the inappropriate disposal of garbage, and also parallels the teaching and learning process indicating solutions to the issue. For the construction of the work, a bibliographical research was first made to present the concepts about the main themes: educommunication, documentary and environmental journalism. In order to arrive at the result, the ethnographic research was carried out, using the technique of interviewing environmental specialists, representatives of governmental institutions and the population, as well as the action research carried out with the students of the José Leoves Teixeira Municipal School. workshops. The documentary will be directed to students and teachers of municipal schools, and it is hoped to contribute in the formation of an environmental education, taking information and provoking reflection on the part of this public.
