Resumo
This article focuses on the state schools Profª Nanci Nina da Costa and Reinado Damasceno, both located in the city of Macapá, capital of the State of Amapá. Through the observations and concerns of the authors when teaching in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of high school, the following research problem was listed: What are the perceptions of teachers of the discipline of Sociology regarding the Reform of High School, in particular, regarding the Provisional Measure 746/2016? In view of this, the general objective of this work is to analyze the perspectives of teachers regarding the Reform of High School and the teaching of Sociology, with the specific objectives of conducting a survey of the historical foundations of Sociology, its intermittencies in high school and the relevance of knowledge sociological understanding of social reality. As methodological procedures, bibliographic and qualitative research were used, adopting the interview as an instrument of data collection. Therefore, it was found that the aforementioned Provisional Measure weakens the teaching work as it seeks to delegitimize sociological knowledge as a relevant field of knowledge for critical training and the exercise of citizenship.
