A influência do Cine Teatro Territorial para a cultura do Amapá no período de 1948 a 1953

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the Cine Teatro Territorial building over the culture of the State of Amapá from 1948 to 1953, drawing an outline of the political and cultural scene, highlighting the physical (architectural) structure of space, discussing the importance of the theatrical space for society and for the artists who presented themselves there, highlighting the most diverse events that took place in the Cine Teatro Territorial during this period. As methodological courses, researches were carried out in the bibliographic and documentary fields, analyzing and cataloging information from the only weekly newspaper of the time, the Journal of Amapá, also searching through interviews, information on the researched topic. As theoretical-conceptual bases, authors such as Patrice Pavis, Roque Laraya, Regis de Moraes, among others were considered. Thus, the researches were able to prove that the Cine Teatro Territorial building represented a historical landmark for the culture of Amapá, becoming the main physical icon of the cultural policy of Janary Nunes - the first governor of Amapá
