O modo de viver ribeirinho na espacialidade do Bairro das Pedrinhas: uma proposta de revitalização para o Canal das Pedrinhas

Abstract

This paper makes a study on how to live in the coastal district of spatiality of Pedrinhas, with focus to the drainage channel of Pedrinhas, stretch where the river culture is still very rooted , and where the link to the Amazon River is exposed through commercial activities developed in the area . Surveys of the area, literature searches and visits in the place were conducted with the objective of creating a proposal for urban renewal and architectural design pable of meeting the needs of the inhabitants of the stretch, as well as generate quality of life to these people with a way of life so peculiar and owner of such a rich culture , which unfortunately are still at the mercy of public investment.
