Desenvolvimento urbano porto e cidade: proposta de reabilitação na área portuária de Santana/ Zona 8

Abstract

This monograph presents a case study in the port area of the municipality of Santana and surroundings, with a specific focus in the zone eight foreseen in the Port Development and Zoning Plan (PDZ) developed by Companhia Docas de Santana (CDS). The area is located on the banks of the Amazon River, serving as the port of entry and exit of riches in the state of Amapá. The study once again diagnoses the potential existence of a relationship between the port and the city since this relationship is evident even if negative. Based on the theoretical reference studies, together with on-site analysis through datas surveys, it was possible to verify the poor infrastructure conditions of the area and surroundings, demonstrating the need to propose a new relation between port and city considering that the current one does not With the expectations of the population. The aim was to suggest a project based on the studies carried out, a proposal to rehabilitate the port area of Santana in which it would result in a harmonious relationship between the port and the city anchored in existing rehabilitation case studies and mainly in the needs encountered over the research, deploying new features that make them an accessible relationship for all users.
