Sensacionalismo e violação dos direitos humanos na tv: uma análise do jornalismo policial no Amapá

Abstract

Police journalism is present in the daily life of Brazilians, contributing to the perception of reality and construction of public opinion. Historically, the media have traveled the path to profit, finding ways to achieve this goal, even if it had to give up compliance with social norms, respect for others and responsibility for information. Given the influence of the format, we chose to put in charge the conduct of the programs Pauta Livre e Balanço Geral, productions of the most popular format in Amapá, through analysis and comparative study and content. The results obtained met the objectives proposed, since it identified how this format is constituted locally and how its relationship with violence, sensationalism and Human Rights is given.
