Mulheres na produção de farinha na comunidade Casa Grande no Curiaú: uma relação entre gênero e trabalho

Abstract

This article discusses briefly about the relation between labor and gender, based on disparate issues that lead to non- valuation of women's work in family farming. Using the case of the farming community of Casa Grande in Curiaú district in Macapá, gender relations and work the flour producers were analyzed by observing and questioning about the ways and practices exercised in the production and sale of the product and how these activities influence the interaction and systematic hierarchy among family members.
