Resumo

This qualitative research is descriptive and explanatory to investigate the ethnicracial issue in a public school in Macapa, in order to identify and interpret the reasons that contribute to the Marabaixo Dance, dance Amapa African descent, is not thematized and problematized in the classes of Physical education in local schools. The methodology consists in the observation of Physical education classes; questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with teachers, coordinator, supervisor and school director, as well as literature search of books and scientific papers. Analysis of the curricula of schools and teaching plans of the subjects was also present in the investigative process to solve the problems raised here. This research contributes to the production of knowledge about the ethnic-racial issue at Physical education which is still incipient. The results were that physical education as a school subject does not move toward law 10639/2003 which brings the history and culture of African and african-brazilian basic education: the training of the teachers / the Physical education influence on posture in relation to ethno-racial. The Marabaixo is not questioned in physical education classes in this discipline have aspects just for sports and essentially practical, and is not conceived in school because of racial prejudice.
