Uma visão das dificuldades no processo de aprendizagem de química por estudantes do Ensino Médio na cidade de Macapá-AP

Abstract

The study of chemistry, like other disciplines, is important, as it allows human beings a critical view of the world and the things that surround them, enabling understanding and use of this knowledge in everyday life. Knowledge of chemistry leaves the student in a position to perceive and intervene in situations that contribute to the deterioration of their quality of life, as it is related to the basic needs of human beings - food, clothing, health, housing, transportation and others. Associated with knowledge of chemistry, new technologies help students understand the changes that the planet undergoes periodically. This work aims to understand the factors that hinder the teaching-learning process of Chemistry in High School in some public schools in the state education network in the city of Macapá-AP. The results of the survey carried out in public schools in Macapá-AP showed that the majority of students interviewed do not like or have difficulty understanding Chemistry, due to the difficulty encountered with calculations and memorizing formulas present in the content. But most teachers, who prefer expository classes using only the whiteboard, marker pen and students' textbooks.
