O ingresso ao ensino superior público: o perfil dos discente da Universidade Federal do Amapá-2008

Abstract

The Brazilian University has importance for expansion and production of knowledge and culture, and also vocational training space, in which the social actors come historically complaining its expansion and democratization. However, the full realization of the higher education requires openness for strata that have long been excluded from higher levels of education. Signaling through the public policy of democratisation of academic space generates changes to the profile of students accessing higher education. That said, this course conclusion work titled "the entrance to public higher education: the profile of students of Universidade Federal do Amapá" aims to examine the General profile of students who joined the UNIFAP in year 2008. For such investigative analysis study was performed on material provided by the documentary Department of selective processes and Contests of UNIFAP. The test was quantitative approach.
