Sonoplastias amazônicas no teatro: reflexão de um ator-sonoplasta sobre o processo de criação no espetáculo “Curupira - um ser inesquecível”

Abstract

The screen research aims to present questions related to sound design, with emphasis on the performing arts, having as a specific device the theatrical Amazonian sound design, performed in the espectacle “Cururpira – um ser inesquecível”, by the Movimento Cultural Desclassificáveis, from the Macapá-AP city. In the first part we present notions and concepts related to music, such as rhythm, tempo, duration and intensity, also tracing an overview of sound design in the theater as the protagonist of the scene. Then we trace clues about the cosmologies present in amazonian afroindigenous music and the relational way in which some peoples and communities treat music as ritual or musical instruments as non-human beings that have voices. When talking about the espectacle “Cururpira – um ser inesquecível”,”, report on the process of creating the espectacle montage and the autoethnographic experience that experienced as a sound designer in the construction of the sound design of the characters that surround the espectacle and address the choice of each instrument for each persona. During this research I bring some bibliographical references that focus on the concepts of music, as well as on afroindigenous amazonian music and sound design in the theater.
