Convívio e exclusão de espaços públicos: uma proposta de requalificação da Praça Chico Noé na cidade de Macapá - AP

Abstract

Public spaces feature of social interaction opportunities through leisure, sports practices, cultural expressions and etc. The squares as public space, represent continuous flow of people and diversity of social and cultural interactions as part of the urban landscape of the city, in which the study of the living and the exclusion of this area, it is necessary to identify the causes of attrition and upgrade their uses. In this paper a SWOT detailed analysis (strong points, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) is performed to diagnose the rehabilitation needs of the Square Chico Noah in the city of Macapá - AP, rescuing the living and inclusion of these areas, identifying strategies that can serve as model for use in other locations, including the continuity, harmony of the urban fabric and life of society.
