Resumo

This study deals with the relationship between domestic violence and school aggressiveness, involving students in the 3rd year of the initial grades, who present aggressive behavior and have a history of exposure to family violence (physical, verbal and psychological), the Municipal School of Elementary Education (EMEF), with the fictitious Spring name. Since domestic violence is a social problem that affects several homes, it is important to observe the variables of violence in the school-camp, starting from the following problematic: What is the perception of Parents and / or Responsible about the possible relation family maltreatment and school aggression? Does the student who has aggressive behavior at school also have the same behavior at home? How does School Coordination try to solve cases of school aggression? Can the Teacher identify the factors responsible for the aggressive behaviors of the students? The hypothesis is that the exposure of children to family violence increases the incidence of aggressive behaviors in the school. In order to preserve the identity of the researched school, learners, parents and technical staff, it was decided to name the schoolfield with a fictitious name, assigning to it the following designation: Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Primavera. The aim of this study was to investigate whether the children in the 3rd year of the initial series of EMEF Primavera who present aggressive behaviors, when compared to children who do not present such behavior, have a history of a higher incidence of exposure to family violence. They set up as subjects of the research students 3rd year of the group 311 - EMEF Primavera, the teacher regent of the class, the Parents and / or responsible for the students and the Pedagogical Coordinator. The study is of a qualitative nature, addressing Extensive Direct Observation techniques, using Form (students) and Questionnaire (Teacher, Parents and / or Student Responsibility and Pedagogical Coordinator) tools. It was found that children exposed to domestic violence present school aggression, as well as apathy, and that the teacher's knowledge and technical team about the subject facilitates the confrontation of this type of violence. Finally, it was demonstrated that the aggressive behavior of the students is not new for the professionals of the education, who daily must look for alternatives to fight this evil that has roots in the family.
