Resumo
This applied research as a final course of theme was "assessing the course of
Physical Education UNIFAP: a reading from the standpoint of teachers and
students." The study aimed to identify the factors interfering in the performance of the
course, through an evaluation process in order to support future interventions in
improving quality. For this we used two questionnaires (Appendices B and C) in two
aspects, pedagogical and administrative containing closed and open questions and
issues relevant to assessing 10 course, being: coordination, travel, library,
disciplines, performance of teachers and students ( performance and self evaluation),
infrastructure, supporting agencies, classrooms and several facilities. The questions
are divided into items for a total of 65. The subjects were limited to teachers and
students of the course for a total of 123 respondents, with 113 students and 10
teachers. Results showed that the items evaluated in the study 10 were identified as
factors that determine quality of the course are:
- In the pedagogical aspect: 1) insufficient number of tutors, 2) failure of the
bibliographic (journals and multimedia), 3) little incentive to carry out training events,
4) lack of discussion of the results of tests, 5) minimum conditions for the
development of teaching and 6) the lack of punctuality / discentes.número the lack of
teachers and lack of infrastructure.
- Administratively: 1) lack of adequate infrastructure to meet the needs of the
course, 2) insufficiency in the amount of equipment and materials available, 3) lack of
available space for study and care of teachers to students and 4) lack of area of living
space with a cafeteria and recreation.
