O infotenimento no jornalismo do Amapá: uma análise da revista diário

Abstract

The present work proposes to analyze the application of infotainment in the Diário magazine. This appears nowadays as a new tool of Journalism, with great acceptance by the public that seeks this type of product. Infotainment comprises Information + Entertainment inserted in communication vehicles. For this monograph a bibliographic research was carried out, bringing discussions and concepts about infotainment. From there, an analysis of the Diário Magazine, a printed communication vehicle of the State of Amapá, was carried out, in which the framing and characterization of the practice of Infotainment can be gauged. Thus, the objective of this work is to show that Infotainment emerges as a journalistic tool created to provide a better presentation of the news, without losing the credibility of the information, besides providing the reader with a lighter and more pleasant reading. And, as a main result, it is concluded that the Diário Magazine can be considered an example of the use of INFOTHERMENT in journalism in the state of Amapá.
