Resumo
This work entitled The Family-School Relationship at Creche Patrícia Cruche in the municipality of Macapá, aimed to investigate the possible strategies that schools are using to achieve harmony in this relationship and analyze what are the conceptions of the School and those responsible involved with the children, in relation to the importance of the proximity between both in improving children’s education. The research took place through a bibliographical review and the institution of early childhood education Creche Municipal Patrícia Ferreira Cordeiro Cruche, in the municipality of Macapá, was adopted as the locus of investigation. For this purpose, 7 participants were interviewed through questionnaires, including 1 pedagogical coordinator, 2 teachers and 4 parents of children. The results of the empirical research indicate that both school professionals and those responsible for the children at the daycare center investigated have been making efforts to maintain a good interrelationship, as in general they consider that the school-family relationship is important to favor the development of the various aspects of children.
