Do abandono a uma nova arquitetura: edificações abandonadas no bairro central (Macapá-AP) e proposta de uma escola de artes digitais

Abstract

From the studies on contemporary time, current society and its concepts, this work seeks to understand the relationship between the abandonment of buildings and the city, and the dimensions and impacts of this phenomenon in this context, taking as an example the abandoned buildings in the Central district of Macapá-AP that was chosen as the loco of the work for being the nucleus of expansion of the city and to have a process of urban development more advanced in relation to the other districts. The work also approaches methods of recovering these spaces applied to the intervention proposal to an abandoned building dating from the 18th century that culminates in a new architectural composition with a new use aimed at professional training in digital arts, demonstrating the possibility and feasibility of recovering these spaces conciliating concept, plastic and technique.
