Espetáculo Presépio Vivo do Grupo Imagem e Cia de Macapá-AP: investigação sobre o corpo performativo das estátuas vivas

Abstract

This research is a reflection on the artistic process of the performative body in Grupo Imagem e Cia, from the city of Macapá-AP, with emphasis on the living statues of the show “Presépio Vivo”. The research followed quality with theoretical foundations, interviews and in some parts, it uses first-person narration to present their personal experiences, as well as notes from three other members: Cricilma Ferreira, Débora Bararuá and Rosana Oliveira. A theoretical analysis was based on research on the themes of living statues, corporeity, mimesis and gesture, performative theater, from researchers such as: Mona Magalhães (2020); Ângela Vieira (2015); Josete Féral (2008); Sônia Machado de Azevedo (2004); Matteo confitto (2002); Luís Otávio Burnier (2001); Renato Ferracci (2001), to name a few. This work is divided into three chapters: the first chapter contextualizes the origin of Grupo Imagem e Cia and the initial works of living statues, punctuating conceptual and historical issues based on interviews with the founders of the group; the second chapter presents provocations of the performative body of Grupo Imagem e Cia, bringing notions of body training presented by the group. And the third chapter ends with the exploration of the aesthetics, resistance, and power of the performative body of the living statue of the show “Presépio Vivo” by Grupo Imagem e Cia, approaching the process of creation of this show.
