Enfermagem na atenção psicossocial sob a percepção dos universitários

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the perception of university students about the process of action of the Nursing in Psychosocial Care project: mental health support group, to acquire care and well-being in mental health Methods: This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach held on the premises of the Federal University of Amapá - UNIFAP.Results: Most of the participants are graduating from health courses, are studying full-time and have already required assistance from mental health services. Three categories were determined: importance of the nursing project in psychosocial care, as a contribution to well-being; positive and negative life-changing factors; perception of university students about the service offered. Conclusions: The project "Nursing in Psychosocial Care" is an indispensable instrument for promoting mental health in the university context, as it contributes to the formation of people with autonomy, resilient and capable of dealing with the challenges of academic life and life. in general.
