Análise comparativa entre métodos de cálculos de fundações do tipo sapata de projetos já executados na cidade de Macapá/AP

Abstract

The present Course Conclusion Paper entitled “COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN SHAPE CALCULATION METHODS OF PROJECTS ALREADY PERFORMED IN THE CITY OF MACAPÁ / AP”, thematized the structural area of Civil Engineering, more specifically on the foundation of the shoe type. It had as its general objective: to verify the quality of the projects of shallow foundations of shoe type executed in the city of Macapá / AP. And as specific objectives: To present the differences between methods of calculation of foundations in shoes; Develop a comparison with the projects already executed in the city of Macapá; Provide information on foundation projects to contribute to engineers working in this area; Stimulate the search for knowledge, aiming at the advancement in civil construction and especially minimize the errors in the foundation design phase; Show the importance of a competent professional to develop foundation projects. Check the disparity between the results to obtain the most advantageous and efficient proposal. Methodologically, it was a case study in which information was collected on four projects of shallow shoe foundations executed in the city of Macapá / Ap. aiming to demonstrate the difference in the final result of the dimensioning of a shoe by the load capacity, besides making an estimate of the cost and generating tables and graphs comparing the obtained results. To make the comparison, the most loaded shoes of each project were chosen. The comparison was made between the semiempirical and statistical calculation methods and the dimensions established in the original project. Among the results, the study revealed that some projects executed in the city are larger than necessary which generates more waste and costly projects.
