O impacto do Made in China 2025 na geopolítica tecno-econômica do século XXI: uma análise sobre a importância da soberania tecnológica

Abstract

This paper explores the concept of technological sovereignty as applied to China's Made in China 2025 initiative. The objective is to conduct a theoretical discussion on China's economic and geopolitical rise, analyzing the concepts of technological sovereignty and MIC 2025. The study aims to identify how technological sovereignty is linked to MIC 2025, as well as the program's impact on China's decision-making autonomy and its power of influence within an interdependent international system. Through an analysis of the techno-economic characteristics of the program, the importance of investments in China's national innovation system for expanding its commercial influence through the export of high value-added and strategic technologies and services in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is highlighted. Additionally, the challenges arising from the Chinese government's decision to expand its technological competitiveness and economic influence within global technology supply chains are examined.
