Resumo
This paper deals with the theme of watercourses and their relationship with cities, presenting as the object of study the Jandiá Stream, located at the intersection between the north and central zones of the city of Macapá, capital of the state of Amapá. The case of the Jandiá Stream displays a problematic of global scope, which was established from the disordered urban growth, with harmful consequences on the urban rivers rivers. The main objective of this work was to design a paisagism project with the aim of improving the state of the watercourse and its surroundings, regarding also the appreciation of established socio-cultural practices. The methodology used for the development of this work is essentially qualitative, including, in general, a bibliographical survey on the subject, historic and documental surveys on the object of study, on-site inspections and interviews, in order to better understand issues concerning the intervention area and the potential offered to the scope of the project. This study resulted in the proposal of a linear park, considering cultural factors, leisure practices, landscape perceptions and infrastructure adequacy as fundamental guidelines.
