“Ramon Llull, pedagogo da Cristandade”: simbologia e representações na pedagogia llulliana em perspectiva (sécs. XIII-XIV e c. 1935-1950)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the pedagogy of Ramon Llull, who is considered one of the earliest Christian educators from the thirteenth century, based on his work “Doctrine for Children”. The methodology used for this research involved discourse analysis, conducted on two levels: the first focused on analyzing the discourse within Llull's work, and the second involved analyzing the discourse surrounding the period and the author. This research also considers how Llull's moral and religious ideals may have influenced the post-medieval context, with particular attention given to a conservative Catalan Catholic segment of the first half of the 20th century
