Uma abordagem conceitual e prática na política de prevenção e combate à incêndio no Estado do Amapá com uma aplicação demonstrativa em uma unidade ambulatorial no Campus Marco Zero – UNIFAP

Abstract

The development of human civilization is linked to the process of industrialization, which has also brought large urban concentrations and consequently high risks of fire occurrence, which according to vulnerability of the environment, resulting in enormous proportions of damages, both material and human. It arises the concern with actions that avoid or combat disasters caused by fire. The objective of this paper is to present concepts and analyze legal regulations relevant to measures and actions that seek fire protection policies. In order to do so, this paper brings concepts about fire dynamics regarding their definitions, elements, propagation, and methods of extinction and control. It highlights some historical events, at international, national and local levels that were decisive for the increase in the concern for fires and the search for solutions capable of avoiding both human losses and enormous material losses. It makes a theoretical and conceptual approach to the current local legislation and a practical applicability of its prescriptions in regard to the framework of the minimum measures of Fire and Panic Protection Systems.
