A variação semântico-lexical no falar dos moradores da Vila de Serra do Navio: um estudo geolinguístico

Abstract

Through this Project we aim to map the linguistic uses produced by the residents of Serra do Navio Village, a town in the State of Amapa, concerning the semantic-lexical aspects of the Brazilian spoken Portuguese. This search follows the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Dialectology (CARDOSO, 2002) and the Geolinguistics (CARDOSO, 2010). The data collect was held in the urban area of Serra do Navio and had four informants, of the age groups of 18-30 and 50-75, one man and one woman of each group, all of them with schooling degree of Ensino Fundamental unfinished. By the results, we have a sample of the linguistic reality of the town of Serra do Navio. It is observed by means of the data that the lexical repertoire of speakers from Serra do Navio is built from the exchanges between speakers of different origins, mainly, due to the process of creation of the town and also due to its migratory flow, although this movement is currently sporadic. Moreover, the increase of virtual access in the local intensifies the exchange with speakers of other localities nowadays. The found lexical variation reflects the social reality of the investigated town.
