A proposta de um guia em inglês acessível por QR Code nos pontos turísticos da cidade de Macapá: Fortaleza de São José, Museu Sacaca e Bioparque

Abstract

The article presents as objective the need for a guide in English accessible by QR Code to be made available in some of the main tourist attractions of the city of Macapá such as the Fortaleza de São José, the Museu Sacaca and the Bioparque. To this end, a public opinion survey was conducted through the WhatsApp application and in person with people who visited the selected tourist spots, in the month of February 2023, using a structured questionnaire with seven closed questions. The results of the survey showed that the majority of participants welcomed the proposal for integration between technology and tourism, stressing that the technology is increasingly showing its importance in the tourism sector. The conclusions indicate that tourism in Macapá contains structural and human problems that need to be reviewed and solved in order to establish a permanent but flexible tourist circuit that can highlight the various representative cultural manifestations of the municipality.
