Aspecto sócio econômico: atividade comercial do açaí no município de Santana-AP

Abstract

With the expansion of trade relations, acai is gaining important market, with its traditional importance in the daily diet of populations in the Amazon. In the states of Amapá and Pará is consumed throughout the year for families of different income levels. The present study examined the commercial activity of açaí in Santana in Amapá, were made for this literature review, field research conducted in the urban area with application forms and interviews. Outside is possible to see how organized the supply chain of acai, which factors influence the price of the product and what the relationship of this activity with the generation of income for those involved. It was noted the relevance of acai, the local and regional context, as well as their economic and social viability. Thus, it is essential that economic analyzes are conducted on the possibility that product and creates mechanism.
