O desenho como prática artística na formação inicial em artes visuais: poéticas inacabadas

Abstract

The questions about my drawings and their unfinished business, and what I observe during the process of making these images, have instigated the paths of this research. Thus, through a long moment of reflections and misunderstandings about this practice, this work seeks to understand the paths I take when I draw. What is my interest in the trace that remains unfinished. The inconclusion of the line, the draft, that which escapes perfect figuration - inconclusive, incomplete, unfinished, is the focus of this research. As well as, the articulation between the artistic practice and the teaching practice in the resonances of a teaching based on being an Artist/Teacher/Researcher. How to provide practical experiences through drawing in the initial formation of Visual Arts teachers? Considering that not all teachers, after graduating, have or had contact with practices and forms of visuality during their training, and end up just reproducing much of what already exists in the theoretical field of the discipline. Furthermore, the objectives were: to present artistic practice in the teaching-learning process in Visual Arts, working on intertextuality, and to enable a sensitive and critical thinking about these practices.
