Mobilidade Urbana Sustentável e o Sistema de Compartilhamento de Bicicletas: Análise da Literatura

Abstract

Perceived traffic problems in large cities refer to the importance of studying urban mobility, and in view of this scenario of urban mobility problems, it is important to develop investment improvement projects in cities in order to take care of the environment and the population. It is known that the emission of polluting gases due to the accumulation of cars and individual transport directly impacts the atmosphere, making it necessary to implement a more sustainable strategy that could add to society, economy and environment. This study aims to understand the importance of sustainable urban mobility, and address the bicycle sharing system as an alternative modal transport. Aiming to create a scientific basis, this literature review is based on scientific studies on the aforementioned theme. The results show that sustainable urban mobility can benefit from the bicycle sharing system, reducing congestion, costs and pollution. For the system to work favorably, there must be an infrastructure project to receive service users, ensuring safety and speed, with this, the bicycle becomes a sustainable and safe transport alternative.
