Sétima arte na promoção de saúde sexual e reprodutiva em adolescentes residentes em um município da Amazônia brasileira

Abstract

A descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, resulting from a scientific initiation work plan, carried out between September 2021 and August 2022. The participants were adolescent students in the municipality of Breves/PA. Data was collected through a film workshop. Atlas.ti software was used to organize the data for content analysis. The results and discussions led to the identification of two categories: Knowledge as a strategy for caring for oneself and others: preventing sexually transmitted infections among adolescents; The family and school as a stage for dialog about sexual and reproductive issues among adolescents: bioethical reflections. Family and school involvement proved imperative in the face of the challenges faced by adolescents in relation to sexual and reproductive health, producing spaces for dialog and information, for building knowledge, reducing the vulnerability of adolescents due to the stigma surrounding sex education.
