Resumo
The lack of diversification of teaching practices, as well as the student's inattention scenario to which the teacher has to constantly live in his professional environment, made the use of the language of comics, coupled with geographical reasoning, proposed as means to face such problems. Based on the theme of knowledge construction on the concept of territory and language in comics, this research aims to provide the construction of geographic reasoning on the concept of territory through the language of comics. The hypothesis is that the logical construction of the content and the use of the language of comics are presented as a means to dispose the student's attention, see the playful character that the language provides. The research tends to value alternative languages in the practice of teaching Geography, in order to assist in valuing geographic reasoning and critical understanding of reality, as well as valuing the production of students in the 6th year of elementary school. The research site is the José do Patrocínio State School, located in the District of Fazendinha, Macapá-AP, Brazil. Methodologically, qualitative research-action was adopted, with historical and dialectical materialism as the perspective of analysis; it followed a logical planning to build knowledge of geographic content until it ended in the discussion on the concept of territory. For students' evaluation, the production of quadrinized strips was observed. Which, it has been that from the construction of the geographic reasoning and the use of the language of the comics it was possible to observe in the productions the representation of territorialities
