Resumo

It is known as the kite throughout history has evolved in the process. In this paper an approach to the relationship between man and the artifact, guiding the scope of the research. Through contemporary, it called attention to the significance of the kite, as a toy and its reinterpretation in the social context highlighting each time. It also points out the evolution of play in children's learning, development of critical thinking and creativity. It is emphasized in this work the local culture and which way children use and see the kite, in and out of your living. Anchoring on theories of interdisciplinarity, it is conjectured methodologies favorable, teaching student learning. In this approach interdisciplinarity becomes the guiding principle of this work. The project developed at the School Everaldo Vasconcelos, in the municipality of Santana - AP, recreational kites, is tacked on this axis: teaching and learning through interdisciplinary. Relying on the appreciation of the local culture and bringing this project into the school, which stands out questions about culture and curriculum, adding thereby a plurality of knowledge. Linked to these pluralities, we realize the importance of playing and learning in the educational process. Addressing then new perspectives in relation to visual arts education.
