Narcotráfico no trapézio amazônico: cooperação e forças de defesa

Abstract

This article aims to make a brief analysis of Narcotrafficking in the region of Trapezoid Amazon. At the first moment, Narcotrafficking is presented as a securitized phenomenon, and which moment the Narcotrafficking happened to be considered a international menace. Next, historical considerations are made about how this frontier was originated. In the following topics, the border is approached taking into account the relation established between them and the objective of each one, and how the duality between legal and illegal has originated. Finally, the activities of Cooperation and Defense of the region of the Triple Border are explained: Brazil, Peru and Colombia. The work seeks to point the particularities found in the Amazon Trapézio, as the threat of Narcotrafficking is combated through mutual cooperation, information exchange, training, joint operations and the precision to combat these threats in their respective books of defense.
