Perfil da equipe de enfermagem das unidades básicas de saúde na fronteira Franco-Brasileira

Abstract

It stands out the importance of this research with the nursing team of the basic units in the Franco-Brazilian Border is highlighted, in order to better understand the profile of the professionals who work in these UBS in order to promote quality health for a cross-border population. The study aimed to outline the profile of the nursing team working in basic health units in the municipality of Oiapoque, identifying the socioeconomic and demographic variables, level of professional training and their improvement in the work process, in addition to analyzing the main difficulties found to work in these UBS. It was a cross-sectional descriptive research, with a quantitative approach, data collection was carried out in March and April 2019, through a questionnaire applied individually to professionals and was approved by the research ethics committee. The results obtained found that the majority of those surveyed; (30%) is between 31 and 35 years old; (86%) are female; (43%) married; (79%) of brown color; (57%) nursing technicians, followed by (43%) nurses; (57%) have completed high school, (29%) higher education, (14%) postgraduate studies, (7%) specializing in neonatal ICU and others (7%) specializing in pediatrics / obstetrics; performance in the profession from 1 to 5 years (42%) that correlates with performance in the municipality; entered employment through temporary contracts (86%); most have this as their first job in health (64%); reported that they had not received prior training to work in these units (86%); the main difficulty encountered by the majority is the lack of material resources and equipment (56%). Final considerations: It is hoped that the results presented can contribute to better investments in the training and insertion of nursing professionals in primary care, since there is still a shortage of qualified professionals, especially in the area of family health
