Uma investigação do corpo voltada para a formação do discente em Teatro

Abstract

This essay is an investigation of the body that comprehends the significance of the student’s formation in the Bachelor’s degree in Theater at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP). Based on the disciplines Space, Body and Movement, Body Expression and Theatrical Interpretation II, I draw considerations from my personal experiences as a student and monitor in disciplines, discussing my concerns and bodily experiments. Inspired by the methodological ideas of Brad Haseman (2015), I conducted a performative interview with graduates and teachers of the course, aiming to reflect on aspects that permeated their formative processes from the body, such as: the body and self-knowledge, the creation processes, the methodologies and the unveiling of identity issues from practical experiences. For this, the research dialogues with Rudolf Laban (1978) whose studies point to the need for a work with awareness and the search for bodily expressiveness as a basis for artistic formation, Konstantin Stanislavski (1994) who presents his artistic notions about the actor’s formation from the relationship with the body and Sonia Machado Azevedo (2004) who proposes to explore a more pedagogical path for working with the actor’s body.
