Análise de política externa brasileira: a continuidade dos governos Temer e Bolsonaro

Abstract

The theme of this monograph is the Foreign Policy of the Temer and Bolsonaro Governments from 2016 to 2019. This monographic text presents the analysis of the Brazilian Foreign Policies of the Michel Temer and Jair Bolsonaro governments. The methodology of this work is to discuss the speeches of Foreign Ministers, Itamaraty notes, official documents, journalistic texts and specialized bibliography of the object of study, in a qualitative and analytical way through bibliographic review. In this respect, the theoretical understanding in which the Foreign Policy Analysis subarea is used to give conceptual substance to the work, specifically to broaden the understanding of the bases and actions of foreign policy makers in the chosen governments, is fundamental. The hypothesis of this text is to perceive the continuity between administrations from the fundamental areas such as deideologization, trade and security. Thus, the final considerations are that there was similarity in international action in seeking criticism of the PT's strategic partners, in seeking trade and investment agreements, and in discussing the fight against transnational crimes in Brazilian dyads.
